About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Breezy Corners. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Cost Management: Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure optimal profitability.
  • Menu Planning: Collaborate with our culinary team to plan and develop new menus, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train our kitchen staff to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional service and maintain our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and arrange for equipment purchases and repairs to ensure our kitchen is well-stocked and well-maintained.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all food meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, including preparing and serving food to customers with dietary restrictions or allergies.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
