As a leading entity in the industry, Mircom Group of Companies is on the lookout for a skilled PMA (Preventative Maintenance Agreement) Account Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background and a comprehensive understanding of fire alarm, security, and telecommunications systems.
Key Duties:
- Generate and secure new sales for PMA services and inspections.
- Enhance and expand existing accounts by reviewing customer purchasing patterns and proactively reaching out to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Pursue new business prospects utilizing industry knowledge and connections.
- Cultivate relationships with property owners, management firms, potential clients, and industry professionals through a mix of cold outreach, field sales, and direct marketing initiatives to promote Mircom's offerings.
- Upsell and uphold service agreements with current clients through a blend of field sales, telemarketing, and promotional efforts.
- Innovate solutions utilizing Mircom products and services to effectively address customer requirements.
- Formulate a competitive pricing strategy based on market insights and customer understanding.
- Secure new service agreements across all company offerings.
- Engage directly with clients to ascertain their needs and drive the sales process.
- Prepare proposals for service agreements, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
- Provide accurate quotes for sales agreements while adhering to company pricing policies.
- Maintain strong client relationships by anticipating current and future needs and responding promptly.
- Identify and resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of company services and communicate market rates, customer requirements, and competitor offerings.
- Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of all product lines and services provided.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in B2B sales with strong prospecting capabilities, including cold calling.
- Self-motivated and driven.
- Strong desire to learn and adapt.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship building and customer service.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings.
- Advanced sales techniques and ability to craft customer-centric solutions.
- Proactive in seeking opportunities and suggesting improvements.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Minimum of 3 years of technical sales experience, particularly in the fire and life safety sector.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Relevant post-secondary education (sales or technical degree/diploma).
- Exceptional presentation abilities.
- Experience in preparing detailed quotes.
- Familiarity with fire alarm technology, OFC fire code, and building regulations is advantageous.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- Residency within the province is required.
