Gas Station Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Gas Station Supervisor to join our team at Circle K Gas Station. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our gas station, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment for our employees and customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise Staff: Lead and manage a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their job responsibilities.
- Assign Duties: Allocate tasks and responsibilities to employees, ensuring that all areas of the gas station are covered.
- Hire and Train: Recruit and train new employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Establish Schedules: Create and manage employee schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak periods.
- Prepare Reports: Compile and analyze sales data, merchandising reports, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the organization and maintenance of inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that products are rotated regularly.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with employees, providing feedback and coaching to improve their performance.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Outlook.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, working under pressure, with attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, team player, dependable, and ability to multitask.
- Accessibility: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Newcomers and Refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition, offers mentorship programs, and provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings.
- Youth: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Indigenous People: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
