About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Wasaga Petro Ltd. as a Team Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store is always well-stocked and organized.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage and coordinate the work of sales staff to ensure that all areas of the store are adequately covered.
  • Order Merchandise: Place orders for inventory and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Authorize Return of Merchandise: Process returns and exchanges in a fair and efficient manner, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their experience.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage schedules for sales staff, ensuring that we have adequate coverage during peak periods.
  • Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Ensure that our store is always well-stocked and organized, with accurate inventory levels and minimal waste.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the work of sales staff, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

  • Support for Persons with Disabilities: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
