About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator and Project Manager to join our team at Hall Constructors. As a key member of our estimating team, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate and competitive bids, and contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the estimating team, subtrade partners, and vendors to develop comprehensive bids that meet client requirements and industry standards.
  • Analyze contract documents and tender specifications to understand project requirements and manage the estimating process with accuracy.
  • Proactively seek out value engineering and cost savings opportunities while mitigating risk, and communicate regularly with clients and subcontractors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and project team members.
  • Conduct project reviews to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and policies.
Requirements
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • 3+ years of experience in Mechanical Estimator and project management.
  • Proven experience in local civil construction projects or high-rise construction projects, with a strong understanding of industry standards and practices.
  • Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management, or relevant hands-on work experience.
  • Proficient with Trimble Accubid and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong teamwork skills, meticulous attention to detail, and effective leadership skills.
