Mechanical Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Iron Horse Rentals Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify areas for improvement in mechanical systems and components.
- Develop and implement maintenance standards, schedules, and programs to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Investigate and troubleshoot mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and manage projects, preparing estimates, reports, and design specifications for machinery and systems.
- Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for industrial construction or maintenance projects.
- Supervise and review the work of technicians, technologists, and other engineers, ensuring high-quality designs, calculations, and cost estimates.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools, including CAD, CAM, and maintenance management systems.
