About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ethnic Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at London Haveli. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of ethnic dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Inventory and Supplies: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and maintain a positive and productive team environment.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, and organize buffets and banquets to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Environment: Restaurant setting.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Organized, reliable, team player, and strong time management skills.
