About the Role

Manna Cuisine Inc. is seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Preparation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase the flavors and ingredients of South Indian cuisine.
  • Culinary Leadership: Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Order and manage supplies and equipment to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Relocation costs covered by employer.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
