Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2783024 ONTARIO INC. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency in food service delivery.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide guidance on food preparation and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and ensure accurate ordering and inventory control.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules and maintain accurate records of staff hours and attendance.
  • Security and Safety: Conduct regular security and safety checks, and ensure that all staff are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced and dynamic conditions.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 to 50 hours per week.
