Position Overview

The Housekeeping Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the cleaning staff and ensuring that all areas of the facility meet high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a supervisory role within the housekeeping or cleaning industry.
Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and develop cleaning personnel to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the cleaning team.
  • Conduct inspections of facilities to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Identify and recommend additional services such as maintenance, repairs, or renovations as needed.
  • Assist cleaning staff in their duties to ensure a collaborative work environment.
  • Coordinate cleaning schedules with other departments to optimize workflow.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for the cleaning team.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Direct oversight of:

  • Janitors and caretakers
  • Light duty cleaning staff
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced setting requiring the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
