About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeping Professional to join our team at Andersen Inn & Suites. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect elevators, and attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Laundry and Linen Management: Launder clothing and household linens, and ensure that all linens are clean and in good condition.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure that all areas of the hotel are secure and safe for guests and staff, and that all necessary protocols are followed in the event of an emergency.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained, and communicate effectively with guests and other departments to ensure that their needs are met.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, team player, patience, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
