Position Overview

The Housekeeping Team Leader plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities at Andersen Inn & Suites. This position involves overseeing cleaning staff and ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months of relevant experience in a supervisory role within the housekeeping sector.
Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and manage cleaning personnel to ensure efficient operations.
  • Supervise daily activities of cleaning staff, ensuring adherence to safety and cleanliness protocols.
  • Conduct inspections of facilities to uphold quality standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Assist cleaning staff in their duties as needed.
  • Develop and manage work schedules for the housekeeping team.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This role includes oversight of:

  • Janitors and caretakers
  • Light duty cleaning staff
Work Environment

The position is set in a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
