The Pharmacy Supply Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services. This position involves a variety of tasks that support both the pharmacy team and our clients.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role is preferred.
The successful candidate will work in a pharmacy or drugstore setting, characterized by a fast-paced atmosphere that requires the ability to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in scheduling and managing workflow within the pharmacy.
- Prepare and maintain necessary equipment and supplies.
- Process billing for third-party insurers.
- Maintain accurate inventories of medications and prescription records.
- Ensure the availability of supplies and equipment.
- Perform general clerical duties to support daily operations.
- Manage routine office functions, including reception duties and appointment bookings.
- Order and organize supplies and equipment as needed.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for clients.
- Provide assistance to healthcare professionals in their daily tasks.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Word is essential for this role.
Work Conditions- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail is required.
- Demonstrates accuracy and efficiency in tasks.
- Exhibits strong client focus and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and a team player.
This is a permanent position with a commitment of 35 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
