IT Applications Department Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Applications Department Manager to join our team at BBA Consultants. As a key member of our IT leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the applications teams, establishing and executing application initiatives, and defining the scope and cost estimates for required work.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and lead the applications teams to achieve strategic objectives.
- Establish and execute application initiatives, including project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Define the scope and cost estimates for required work, including operations, finance, business development, human resources, and project management.
- Lead application-related services, including corporate solutions, data integration, business intelligence, productivity tools, and application integration and development.
- Share knowledge and experience with others, promote collaboration and innovation, and oversee the implementation of the DevOps methodology.
- Establish relevant performance indicators and use them to monitor and optimize work.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, information management, or a related field.
- Five to eight years of work experience in business or IT management, preferably with a combination of both.
- Three to five years of experience in team management.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and French.
- Strong leadership skills, including team building, achieving consensus, and balancing team and individual responsibilities.
- Experience in planning and implementing strategic technology solutions and formulating and updating policies.
- Ability to work with other business units to influence and implement changes to meet shared goals.
- Ability to effectively guide and support changes affecting employees, processes, and technology in a fast-paced, complex operational environment.
