BBA Consultants is seeking a driven and experienced Department Manager – Telecommunications and Operational Infrastructures to lead our team in delivering innovative solutions for the Energy and Natural Resources sector.
As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of technology within this dynamic industry. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the department, including human resources, financial resources, and material resources, ensuring we achieve our strategic objectives and meet operational efficiency targets.
Your Responsibilities:- Lead the development and implementation of consulting and engineering services for network architecture, IT/OT solutions, infrastructure design, server rooms, and operations centers.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous learning within your team by providing training opportunities, implementing best practices, and actively participating in recruitment efforts to attract top talent.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, developing compelling proposals that showcase our expertise and capabilities.
- Contribute your technical expertise to projects as a technical contributor or project manager, ensuring successful delivery and exceeding client expectations.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to your team members, conducting performance evaluations and fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize department efficiency, enhance quality standards, and implement structured project delivery methodologies.
We are seeking an individual who embodies our core values of entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for technology, a thirst for knowledge, a results-driven mindset, and unwavering integrity.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in telecommunications or operational system architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in computer or electrical engineering with a specialization in telecommunications and networking, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- In-depth knowledge of best practices in IT/OT infrastructure design, as well as cybersecurity standards and best practices.
- Fluency in both English and French, both written and spoken.
