We are seeking a seasoned leader to join our team as Department Manager - Telecommunication and Operational Infrastructures. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving our digital transformation in the industrial sector.
About the Role
- Manage the department's human, financial, and material resources to achieve BBA's strategic objectives.
- Oversee the progress of activities to achieve BBA's business plan and meet set operational efficiency targets.
- Develop and implement departmental strategies to drive innovation and excellence.
- Lead a team of professionals in the development of network architecture, IT/OT solutions, and infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Participate in projects as a technical contributor or project manager.
- Monitor and assess employees under your supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate consulting and engineering services for network architecture, IT/OT solutions development, and infrastructure.
- Develop department members' technical skills through training and work methods.
- Recruit and hire qualified personnel to achieve BBA's strategic objectives.
- Develop client relationships and prepare competitive proposals.
- Actively participate in innovation projects and contribute to the development of new ideas.
- Work with internal teams to increase department efficiency and quality.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in telecommunications or operational system architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in computer or electrical engineering with a specialization in telecommunications and networking.
- Knowledge of best practices in IT/OT infrastructure design and cybersecurity standards.
- Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written.
