As a key member of the Fraser Health team, the Coordinator, Contact Centre plays a vital role in ensuring the effective operation of the centralized contact centre function. This position requires a strong leader who can oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and implement policies and procedures to meet established standards and objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operation of the centralized contact centre function, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery to patients, clients, and residents.
- Supervise designated staff, providing guidance, support, and performance appraisals to ensure high-quality work and staff development.
- Hire, orientate, and train new employees, developing and implementing staff development and retention plans to enhance team performance.
- Assist the Manager in discipline issues, participate in investigations, and initiate employee terminations as necessary.
- Implement and maintain departmental office administrative policies, procedures, and processes, ensuring compliance with applicable acts, regulations, and collective agreements.
- Evaluate contact centre requirements, liaise with vendors, and monitor support levels to ensure contract requirements are met.
- Make recommendations and assist the Manager in developing innovative solutions within established budgets.
- Monitor contact centre expenditures and approve invoices from external vendors within authorized budgets.
- Serve as change lead and subject matter expert for contact centre-related projects, attending and participating in assigned meetings and committees as requested.
To be successful in this role, you will require a Diploma in Business Administration, plus five to seven years' recent, related experience, including two years' experience in a supervisory capacity, in a large, complex organization, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
You will also demonstrate the leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring, and Courageous, creating conditions for people to succeed.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of voice technology systems, architecture, and concepts are essential for this role.
