Customer Service Operations Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our contact centre. This individual will be responsible for ensuring effective contact centre services, supervising designated staff, implementing and maintaining office administrative policies, processes, and procedures, and ensuring standards and objectives are met.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation of the centralized contact centre function for Fraser Health.
- Supervise and support designated staff, including coordinating work schedules, providing guidance, and completing performance appraisals.
- Hire, train, and develop staff, as well as implement appropriate staff development and retention plans.
- Participate in employee discipline issues, grievances, and routine confidential matters, including employee terminations.
- Implement and maintain office administrative policies, procedures, and processes, including occupational health and safety, leave management, education, and compliance with applicable acts, regulations, and collective agreements.
- Evaluate contact centre requirements, liaise with external vendors, and monitor support levels to ensure contract requirements are met.
- Assist in developing innovative solutions within established budgets and contribute to the development of annual goals and objectives for the contact centre.
- Monitor contact centre expenditures and approve invoices from external vendors within authorized budgets.
- Serve as a change lead and subject matter expert for various contact centre projects, as assigned by the Manager.
- Attend and participate in assigned meetings and committees as requested.
Qualifications
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Operations Manager with:
- A diploma in Business Administration and five to seven years of recent, related experience, including two years in a supervisory capacity, in a large, complex organization.
- Demonstrated leadership practices, including the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring, and Courageous, and the ability to create conditions for success.
- Professional/Technical Capabilities, including demonstrated knowledge and understanding of voice technology systems, architecture, and concepts.
