Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietetic Aide to join our team. As a Dietetic Aide, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our business and operations by preparing and serving food, nourishments, and supplements for therapeutic diets and enteral feedings. You will work collaboratively with our team to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and safe food preparation environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare and serve food, beverages, nourishments, supplements, and enteral feedings according to diet plans and menus.
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times.
- Texturize foods, nourishments, and supplements according to client needs and international texturization standards.
- Meet food preparation and serving deadlines.
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain a clean and safe food preparation environment.
- Completion of Grade XII (or G.E.D.)
- Valid Food Handlers Certification Level 1
- Combination of 2015 hours of work experience in food preparation in an institutional setting and/or food service is preferred
- Knowledge of therapeutic and texturized diets is preferred
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 25 pounds. They will also be required to work safely in a physically demanding environment and be exposed to heat and cold and other hazards that may accompany food preparation areas.
