Job Title: Dietary Aide

Join our team at Golden Links Lodge Personal Care Home as a Dietary Aide, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and work areas.
  • Ensure that all food safety and handling procedures are followed, including proper storage, handling, and disposal of food and waste.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Grade 10 education or equivalent.
  • Food Handlers training certificate Level 1 or equivalent.
  • Food service experience preferred.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend fluent English.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions:

The Dietary Aide will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with exposure to heat, noise, and physical demands. The successful candidate must be able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods, with the ability to work in a team environment.
