Job Title: Casual Dietary Aid

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Casual Dietary Aid to join our team at Golden Links Lodge Personal Care Home. As a Dietary Aid, you will play a vital role in providing excellent food service to our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in food preparation, serving, and cleaning duties in a food service operation.
  • Perform tasks such as pre-preparation of food items, salad and sandwich production, and cleaning duties.
  • Ensure a safe and clean working environment is maintained.
  • Work within the framework of Golden Links Lodge values, philosophy, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Completion of Grade 10 required.
  • Food Handlers training certificate Level 1 or equivalent required.
  • Food service experience is preferred.
  • Able to carry out duties in a professional manner, working under minimum or no supervision.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend fluent English required.

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced food service environment, with the ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects. A clean and neat appearance is required, with adherence to the facility's dress code.
