Responsibilities
  1. Lead kickoff meetings and phase gate meetings to coalesce strategies into actions, identifying stakeholders and analyzing their expectations.
  2. Proficiently review contract documentation and ensure successful execution throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Assist the project team in developing the scope of supply, translating work breakdown structure into an activity-based schedule, and identifying the critical path.
  4. Communicate project specifications, terms, and conditions to key suppliers.
  5. Lead project review meetings and collaborate with all disciplines during the project, including engineering, operations, and sales, to ensure timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality delivery.
  6. Maintain a positive customer experience while tracking progress towards budget objectives, monitoring on-time invoice submissions, and cash collections.
  7. Develop communication plans, gathering and integrating reports, data, and information to communicate regular, accurate status and forecasts to all stakeholders, including customers.
  8. Identify and manage risks by establishing contingency plans for all key milestones and triggering them if necessary.
  9. Capture lessons learned as they occur, documenting and sharing them with stakeholders.
  10. Demonstrate a commitment to effective, standardized project management, motivating, coaching, and influencing team members to learn and use project management tools and best practices.
  11. 20% overnight travel may be occasionally required.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
  2. 3 to 5 years of experience in rotating or fixed equipment and/or equipment packages.
  3. 2+ years of experience in project management or related order fulfillment role within a manufacturing environment.
  4. Deep understanding of project management concepts, with high proficiency in project management tools and software.
  5. Deep understanding of Root Cause Analysis, warranty process, and natural drive towards quality.
  6. Strong understanding of how documents, materials, parts flow through the manufacturing environment.
  7. Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills, with the ability to speak and communicate effectively with various audiences at the site level.
  8. Firmly demonstrated mental and physical organizational skills to break down and sort work into tasks, identify and order priorities, establish, communicate, and execute schedules, and maintain data and files that are current and retrievable.
  9. Strong drive to make things happen and a strong 'can do' attitude.
  10. A process-oriented mindset, and a demonstrated ability to analyze processes and provide suggestions for improvement.
  11. A personal style that is achievement-oriented and collaborative, with the ability to coach others and discuss problems in a way that gets results, promotes teamwork, and builds relationships.
  12. Computer savvy, and a skilled user of Microsoft Office programs with knowledge of Microsoft Projects.
  13. Highly organized with proven leadership skills and the ability to achieve objectives with minimal direction.
  14. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and changing work environment.
  15. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, in addition to interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Preferred Requirements
  1. Candidates with experience in pumps or rotating equipment will be preferred.
  2. Experience operating in an ERP system is a plus.
  3. PMP certification preferred.
  4. Self-motivated with a desire to drive a project management culture throughout the region.
  5. Demonstrate a desire for personal growth and career development.
