Key Responsibilities- Lead kickoff meetings and phase gate meetings to coalesce strategies into actions, identifying stakeholders and analyzing their expectations.
- Review contract documentation, ensuring it reflects negotiated terms and conditions, and execute projects successfully throughout the lifecycle.
- Assist the project team in developing the scope of supply, translating work breakdown structures into activity-based schedules, and identifying critical paths.
- Communicate project specifications, terms, and conditions to key suppliers.
- Lead project review meetings, collaborating with engineering, operations, and sales disciplines to ensure timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality project delivery.
- Maintain a positive customer experience, tracking progress toward budget objectives, and monitoring on-time invoice submissions and cash collections.
- Develop communication plans, gathering and integrating reports, data, and information to communicate regular, accurate status and forecasts to stakeholders, including customers.
- Identify and manage risks, establishing contingency plans for key milestones and triggering them as necessary.
- Capture lessons learned, documenting and sharing them with stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a commitment to effective, standardized project management, motivating team members to learn and use project management tools and best practices.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in rotating or fixed equipment and/or equipment packages.
- 2+ years of experience in project management or a related order fulfillment role within a manufacturing environment.
- Deep understanding of project management concepts, with high proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Strong understanding of Root Cause Analysis, warranty processes, and a natural drive toward quality.
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills, with the ability to speak and communicate effectively with various audiences.
- Firmly demonstrated mental and physical organizational skills, with the ability to break down and sort work into tasks, identify and order priorities, establish and execute schedules, and maintain current and retrievable data and files.
- Strong drive to make things happen and a strong 'can-do' attitude.
- A process-oriented mindset, with the ability to analyze processes and provide suggestions for improvement.
- A personal style that is achievement-oriented and collaborative, with the ability to coach others and discuss problems in a way that gets results, promotes teamwork, and builds relationships.
- Computer savvy, with knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and Microsoft Projects.
- Highly organized, with proven leadership skills and the ability to achieve objectives with minimal direction.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and changing work environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, in addition to interpersonal and teamwork skills.
