Senior Municipal Roadway Engineering Director

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Municipal Roadway Engineering Director to join our Design and Engineering team at IBI Group. This is a senior leadership role that will involve developing and implementing a strategic plan to expand our municipal roadway engineering practice and deliver top-quality engineering projects to existing and new clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and oversight on projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to grow the municipal roadway engineering practice, identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with key clients.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development and success.
- Participate in management discussions and contribute to the direction of the firm, providing technical expertise and strategic input.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve our services and deliver value to clients.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in municipal roadway engineering, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects and growing business.
- P.Eng Ontario or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent technical, commercial, and delivery acumen, with a strong understanding of the municipal roadway engineering sector.
