Job Title: User Support Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled User Support Technician to join our team at THE ORTHODONTIC CENTRE AT NORTHLAND. As a User Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our users, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and training to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Work Environment:

Our office is a general office setting, and you will be required to sit and stand for extended periods. You will also be required to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and users.
