Position Overview

As an integral part of our IT Services team, the Technical Support Analyst will report to the IT Services Experience Manager. This role is crucial for maintaining the reliability and availability of our network and systems, which support thousands of students and numerous faculty and staff across multiple campuses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support: Serve as the primary contact for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues related to hardware and network systems. You will ensure effective communication while managing help requests and providing solutions in a timely manner.
  • System Management: Deploy and maintain computer systems for both PC and Mac environments, offering daily technical support to staff, students, and faculty both on-site and remotely.
  • After-Hours Support: Participate in after-hours monitoring and support for emergency issues, ensuring a responsive approach to critical incidents.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A diploma in an IT-related field such as networking, technical administration, or technical support is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of one year in IT support and administration, with a strong foundation in troubleshooting technologies, PC workstations, and server hardware.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication abilities to build relationships between IT and business stakeholders, with a focus on empathy and patience when assisting non-technical users.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to be part of a 24/7 monitoring and response team, with the ability to travel to various locations as needed.
