Systems Architect for Threat Mitigation

Position:
The Engineering division at Allen-Vanguard is actively seeking a Systems Designer to enhance the Threat Management Team (TMT) based in Ottawa, Ontario.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess and validate mission requirements for electronic warfare systems
- Design and evaluate proxy devices
- Perform over-the-air assessments of mission requirements
- Generate comprehensive technical documentation
- Engage in collaboration across multiple engineering fields
- Operate autonomously while adhering to organizational protocols
- Facilitate product demonstrations
- Contribute to the establishment of new testing frameworks
- Work with cross-functional teams on system integration and validation efforts
Qualifications:
- Possession of Canadian security clearance at Secret Level II
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communications Engineering, or Computer Science
- Experience in a laboratory setting
- Familiarity with RF testing instruments
- Proficient in hardware troubleshooting
- Excellent communication abilities
- Understanding of radio communication principles and signal processing
- Experience with programming in Python, Arduino, Simulink, and MATLAB
- Willingness to travel internationally
