Job Title: Security Threat and Risk Assessment Specialist

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Security Threat and Risk Assessment Specialist to conduct comprehensive security threat and risk assessments of our IT facilities and IT infrastructure/data centers in accordance with ITSG-33 and Harmonized Threat and Risk Assessment (HTRA) methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough security threat and risk assessments of IT systems, identifying potential vulnerabilities and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement effective security controls to protect against cyber threats and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize security risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, and provide recommendations for improving our security posture.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation, including security assessments, risk management plans, and incident response plans.
Requirements:
  • Federal Government Secret clearance (Level II)
  • Experience in completing IT security threat and risk assessments for secure IT systems using CSEC's Harmonized Threat and Risk Assessment (TRA) Methodology (TRA-1) and ITSG-33.
  • Strong understanding of IT security principles, risk management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize security risks.
