As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing technical support to our engineers and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical matters
- Support the Maintenance Engineering Group Lead in developing and implementing technical standards and procedures
- Review and approve Engineering Work Orders (EWOs) and Maintenance of Certification (MOCs)
- Provide technical support to the Maintenance Engineering Group, including piping flexibility analysis and ASME VIII code calculations
- Develop and provide in-house training to Maintenance Engineers
- Develop and update internal instructions and standards
- Manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Participate in the Refinery On-Call rotation
- Provide Engineering Leadership during annual Turnarounds
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- 8+ years of relevant industry-related experience
- P.Eng. designation is a requirement
- Experience providing Engineering Leadership
- Experience with relevant ASME codes: Section VIII, B31.3, PCC1, PCC2, etc.
- Experience with relevant API codes: 510, 570, 579, etc.
