Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Financial Compliance Manager is to uphold the accuracy, integrity, and punctuality of financial reporting while offering strategic insights to enhance financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and oversee divisional budgets and forecasts, delivering insights and recommendations to senior leadership to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Inventory Oversight: Manage inventory valuation, reconciliation, and control processes, ensuring adherence to company policies and accuracy.
  • Internal Control Framework: Design and implement robust internal control procedures to protect company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • ERP System Utilization: Leverage the Global Shop Solutions ERP system for financial transactions, reporting, and analytical purposes.
Strategic Initiatives:

Collaborate with senior management to formulate and execute strategic initiatives aimed at driving sustainable growth and profitability within the division.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Effectively communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders, providing clear and actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Ad Hoc Financial Analysis:

Conduct financial analyses to support ad hoc decision-making and implement corrective actions in collaboration with other department managers and support from the Site Manager.

Qualifications:
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly within the industrial equipment sector, is preferred.
  • Strong expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards is a significant advantage.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions is considered an asset.
