Key Responsibilities:

Control Design:

  • Facilitate the introduction of new offerings by integrating financial crime compliance requirements in a user-friendly manner while strictly adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Ensure that compliance controls evolve alongside the product by creating ongoing review and monitoring systems, safeguarding Wise and its clientele against financial crime risks.
  • Devise intelligent and scalable strategies to support new collaborations while effectively managing associated financial crime challenges.

Regulatory Risk and Remediation:

  • Provide guidance to Product and operational teams on interpreting financial crime regulations and enhancing processes to prevent regulatory infractions or incidents.
  • Represent Wise in discussions with Banking Partners and Regulators, articulating the value proposition of the Wise Platform with clarity and effectiveness.

We seek a proactive problem-solver who can leverage regulatory knowledge and data to inform business strategies. You should be a natural leader, capable of driving projects from conception to execution with precision and attention to detail. Your ability to analyze and apply complex regulatory frameworks in a customer-focused and scalable manner is essential.

Experience in building teams from the ground up and familiarity with Correspondent banking is highly valued.
