Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive experience in all facets of retail leasing; proactively seeking and finalizing renewals and new leases for vacant or soon-to-expire spaces.
  • A robust network of industry contacts, with the ability to cultivate and sustain relationships with tenants and brokerage communities, ensuring a strong external presence for Skyline's Retail portfolio.
  • In-depth understanding of retail leasing principles and practices, along with knowledge of relevant Federal, Provincial, and local laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in providing insights and recommendations to asset management and finance regarding annual leasing assumptions as part of a thorough budgeting process.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and customer service abilities; a passion for teamwork within the leasing team and the broader Retail group, including mentoring and knowledge sharing with junior staff.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet multiple tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as necessary.
  • A representative who promotes a highly professional and positive image of Skyline Retail REIT properties and its management.
