**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director/Director of Retail Leasing to join our team at Skyline Group of Companies. As a key member of our Retail Leasing team, you will be responsible for driving the national leasing function for our Retail REIT portfolio, with a focus on maximizing occupancy and revenue while supporting our company's goals of increasing efficiency and surfacing value in real estate.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement leasing strategies to achieve optimal occupancy and revenue growth for our Retail REIT portfolio.
  • Manage and oversee the leasing process, including renewals, new leasing, and expiring space.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, brokers, and other industry stakeholders to foster a positive and professional image of Skyline Retail REIT properties.
  • Provide input and opinion to asset management and finance teams on leasing assumptions and budgeting processes.
  • Lead and mentor junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork within the leasing team and the wider Retail group.
  • Operate under pressure, meeting multiple tight deadlines and working a flexible schedule as required.

**Requirements**

  • Extensive experience in retail leasing, with a proven track record of success in driving occupancy and revenue growth.
  • Strong knowledge of retail leasing principles and practices, as well as applicable Federal, Provincial, and local laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Fluency in English and French, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
