Parksville Bottle & Recycling Centre Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bottle Depot Supervisor to join our team at Parksville Bottle & Recycling Centre. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our bottle depot, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operational plans to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Organize and coordinate tasks to accomplish work, including overseeing logistics and supply chain management.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, maintaining accurate records and reports as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to achieve business objectives and improve overall performance.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
