About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bottle Depot Supervisor to join our team at Parksville Bottle & Recycling Centre. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our bottle depot, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Planning: Develop and implement plans to prioritize tasks, optimize workflows, and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Task Management: Organize and assign tasks to team members, monitor progress, and provide guidance as needed.
  • Logistics Coordination: Oversee the operational logistics of the depot, including inventory management, supply chain coordination, and equipment maintenance.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on depot performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive excellent service, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
