Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Coffee Culture.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our coffee shop and restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Hire food service staff and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns and prepare and submit reports.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef and supervise and check delivery of food trolleys.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
- Permanent employment with 35 hours per week.
- English language proficiency.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, and walking. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, be a team player, and have initiative and dependability.
