Job Title: Developmental Service Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Developmental Service Worker to join our team at Community Living St. Catharines. As a key member of our team, you will provide support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support and perform tasks as required
  • Resolve conflict situations and promote positive relationships
  • Supervise activities and provide guidance to clients living in group homes and half-way houses
  • Assist clients with special needs and accompany them to appointments and social outings
Requirements:
  • Developmental services worker (DSW) Training
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Electronic mail skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently
