Job Title: Developmental Service Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Developmental Service Worker to join our team at Community Living St. Catharines. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including assistance with daily living tasks, personal care, and community integration. You will work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement personalized support plans, ensuring that each individual receives the care and support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including assistance with daily living tasks, personal care, and community integration.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans in collaboration with our team.
  • Assist individuals with accessing community resources and services.
  • Provide emotional support and advocacy for individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless support and care for individuals.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Developmental Services Worker (DSW) Training or equivalent.
  • First Aid and CPR Certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
