Job Summary:
The Sandy Hill Community Health Centre is seeking a highly skilled and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide reception services, including answering phones, greeting clients, and handling correspondence
- Manage medical records, including updating and maintaining client files
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing the clinic's schedule
- Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry and filing
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and healthcare team members
Requirements:
- High school graduation diploma or equivalent
- Medical Office Assistant Diploma
- Fluency in English, both oral and written
- Advanced French language skills (oral expression, oral comprehension, and reading comprehension)
- Minimum two years secretarial or clerical experience in a medical environment
- Experience working with electronic medical records
Working Conditions:
