Job Summary

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join AFD Petroleum's team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and Processing
    • Prepare the receiving dock to accept incoming products
    • Match products with receiving documents
    • Operate a forklift in a safe manner to move received products
    • Maintain a safe work environment
    • Lift products and/or stock merchandise up to 70 lbs., according to documented procedures
    • Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking
    • Oversee the secure and accurate unloading of deliveries
    • Assist in the taking of inventory
    • Sort and distribute incoming deliveries
    • Perform quality audits for the condition of shipped incoming items prior to signing off
    • Report discrepancies to Manager
  • Shipping and Fulfillment
    • Fill orders and prepare for shipment using proper packaging for safe delivery
    • Follow current standards and procedures
    • Oversee the secure and accurate loading of deliveries
    • Problem solve for any cases of missing documents
    • Maintain an organized work area according to policies, procedures, and safety regulations
    • Make deliveries with a company vehicle as assigned
  • Packaging and Order Picking
    • Package lubricants into various container sizes while following filling procedures
    • Pick branch and customer orders
    Requirements
    • 2+ years' experience in a warehouse setting
    • High School Diploma required
    • Knowledge regarding lubricant products considered an asset
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and email required
    • Professional written and verbal communication skills
