We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Meat Department Supervisor to join our team at RA3 Enterprise Inc.

Job Summary:

The Meat Department Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, hiring and training staff, and authorizing payments by cheque. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ordering merchandise, authorizing returns, establishing work schedules, and preparing reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise staff and assign sales workers to duties
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
  • Authorize payments by cheque
  • Order merchandise
  • Authorize return of merchandise
  • Establish work schedules
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
  • Conduct performance reviews
Work Environment:

The Meat Department Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The successful candidate will be required to handle heavy loads and work under pressure.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
