Meat Department Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Meat Department Supervisor to join our team at RA3 Enterprise Inc.
Job Summary:The Meat Department Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the meat department, ensuring that all products are displayed and merchandised to meet company standards. This includes supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, hiring and training new employees, and maintaining inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality product presentation.
- Assign sales workers to duties, including cash handling, customer service, and inventory management.
- Hire and train new employees to meet the needs of the department.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels, including ordering and receiving merchandise.
- Authorize payments by cheque and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers, including scheduling and performance reviews.
- 5-10 years of experience in a retail or grocery store environment.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
