Dietitian II Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our Primary Care team at Northern Health Authority. As a Dietitian II, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and contributing to the development of a person and family-centered model of care.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to develop and implement plans of care for patients with complex nutrition needs.
- Provide expert nutrition advice and education to patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nutrition programs and services in our Primary Care Home.
- Practice in accordance with the professional standards and code of ethics as outlined by the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.
- Baccalaureate degree in nutrition and dietetics.
- Successful completion of an accredited dietetic internship program (or equivalent acceptable to the facility).
- Registrant of the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.
- Two years of clinical nutrition experience in a healthcare environment or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
- Practice-specific requirements and experience in programs such as Diabetes Education, Nutrition Support, and Kidney and Chronic Disease Management Programs.
- Valid BC Driver's License.
