About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Pearl Convenience. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating our cash registers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cash Handling: Operate our electronic cash registers, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Inventory Management: Restock shelves, maintain inventory levels, and assist with receiving and processing shipments.
  • Store Maintenance: Clean and maintain the store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer areas.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals, resolve customer issues, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail sales experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 25 pounds.
