About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Pearl Convenience. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers and discuss their needs, providing recommendations and solutions to meet their expectations.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Maintain a thorough knowledge of products, including features, benefits, and pricing. Promote products and services to customers, and make sales recommendations to meet their needs.
  • Store Operations: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer service areas. Ensure that all merchandise is properly displayed and restocked.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise to ensure that inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, handle customer transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other sales associates and store staff to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week
