Horizon Recruitment Inc is actively searching for a Manager, Planning, Analysis, & BI to support a prominent client within the educational industry. This role involves overseeing intricate analytical services that facilitate the organization's strategic financial planning initiatives. You will engage with various stakeholders to provide essential tools and training, as well as input, feedback, and assistance related to budgeting and forecasting. Additionally, you will supervise daily business intelligence operations aimed at delivering insightful analyses of business performance, opportunities, risks, impacts, and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administers the budget and business intelligence operations, ensuring alignment of operational plans with departmental strategies, enhancing processes, and maintaining data accuracy.
  • Leads comprehensive financial analyses for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning, focusing on enrollment, profitability, and cost efficiencies.
  • Collaborates with managers and stakeholders on budget development, providing necessary tools, communicating timelines, monitoring progress, and recommending adjustments.
  • Directs business intelligence initiatives for performance evaluation, trend analysis, and financial modeling, partnering with the Manager on planning and decision-making.
  • Coordinates with the Financial Systems & Reporting team to ensure effective budgeting and forecasting frameworks, contributing to system planning and enhancements.
  • Monitors compliance and control measures, addresses financial inquiries, notifies the Manager of issues, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Engages in professional organizations and remains informed on industry developments, advocating for best practices and methodologies in reporting functions.
  • Supervises reporting personnel, including their development, performance management, and coaching, collaborating with the Manager on performance-related matters.

Qualifications:

  • CPA designation or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong accounting background with experience in preparing financial statements.
  • Over 6 years of FP&A experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial analysis and business intelligence concepts, theories, practices, and methods, with proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, analysis, and related reporting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Outstanding analytical skills with the capacity to manage complex analytical services supporting strategic financial planning processes, as well as business intelligence services, including all financial modeling, analysis, and report generation.
  • A proactive attitude and readiness to undertake necessary tasks to achieve objectives.
  • A collaborative work style with the ability to operate independently.

Compensation:

  • $120,000-125,000
