Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting support to our senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the annual budget process and business plan process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to collect and synthesize budget data.
- Conduct regular and ad-hoc financial reporting and analyses, providing recommendations to leadership.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic goals, including budget, project, and business case models.
- Participate in special projects to improve financial processes and promote operational efficiency.
- Develop strong working relationships with department leaders to support organizational strategic and financial priorities.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to financial analysts and other finance staff in budget and financial analysis duties.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree in accounting or finance.
- CPA or CFA accreditation, or approaching completion.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, with experience in a financial institution a strong asset.
- Solid experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
