Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Intensive Care Specialist to join our team at the University of Toronto. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching and mentoring medical students and residents, and contributing to research and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the cardiac intensive care unit, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of critically ill patients
  • Teach and mentor medical students and residents in the principles and practice of cardiac intensive care
  • Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives in cardiac intensive care, including the development of new treatments and protocols
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes
Requirements
  • MD degree from a recognized institution
  • Eligibility for certification in Cardiology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Eligibility for licensure to practice from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
  • Completion of formal training in Critical Care Medicine
  • Strong clinical, teaching, and quality improvement experience
