We are currently seeking committed professionals for the position of Swine Technician in the Kola region of Southwestern Manitoba. This role, reporting directly to the Barn Manager, encompasses a variety of responsibilities:

  • Implementing the feeding schedule
  • Managing breeding and farrowing tasks
  • Sorting and weighing pigs for transportation
  • Preparing facilities for animal entry
  • Conducting minor maintenance duties
  • Identifying and addressing livestock health concerns
  • Keeping performance records
  • Executing other related tasks as assigned

Ideal candidates will exhibit self-motivation and a robust work ethic, demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Availability for rotating weekend shifts is essential. Previous experience in swine management is advantageous.
