Job Title: Swine Herdsperson

Topigs Norsvin Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Swine Herdsperson to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Swine Herdsperson will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers, ensuring farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed, and maintaining livestock performance records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
  • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
  • Maintain livestock performance records
  • Maintain quality control and production records
  • Select livestock for sale
  • Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs
  • Maintain work records and logs
  • Perform general farm duties
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and team player
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Criminal record check and driver's validity licence check

Work Environment:
